Rigel is a blue supergiant star in the constellation of Orion. It is one of the brightest stars we can see with the naked eye. It can vary its brightness thanks to pulsations in its unstable atmosphere. It’s a very big star as well. Its mass is 20 times bigger than the Sun. I suppose that it should be summer all the year round on nearby planets.
Rigel is mentioned for the first times in Alfonsine tables (1521). It derives from the Arabic Rijil Jauzah al Yusra, “the left foot of Orion”. European sources used spelling “Regel”, “Algebar” or “Riglon”. In case if you decide to visit it, its distance from the Sun is uncertain. Keep in mind about 1000 light years to enjoy your space travel.😏 It is a winter star. Its culminating day is the 12th December. Besides, it is visible on winter in the Northern Hemisphere & on summer in the Southern Hemisphere.
Astrology endows it with Royal qualities. It regards Rigel as a star of glory, power & great wealth. It gives fortune, success & all the best in the material world. Nevertheless, the fortune might be changeable. If a person does not develop his spiritual qualities, if he is stuck to the matter, Rigel will display its ominous qualities & will ruin its possessor.
Happy stellar journey!🎇✨✨☺

Thank you, Dear Maria. Orion is in our night sky. When it gets dark, I will look for Rigel
Great, dear John! I send you my astro greetings with it. 🙂 🙂 :-)🍤🍤🍤🍻
🤣
Very interesting Maria, I know nothing of astrology but my brother-in-law Ionut is a star gazer and photographer and I will talk with him about Rigel.
😊😊😊 Thank you, dear Charlotte. I’m an amateur astrologer, going to take a professional course soon. I need it for my historical researches & I shall be able to practise for ordinary things too. Send him my greetings. I’m certain he will tell you a lot of interesting! 🌹
