Louis XIV Asks Riddles XI

Esteemed Readers, it’s time for a new historical riddle. I have chosen something short & rather romantic…and I hope not too allegoric as our modern minds, unfortunately, too practical & technical for metaphors & mythological comparisons à la Grand Siècle. 😊Good luck!🎉🎉🎉

“So many people work to awake me from my dream to forrow the seas without being criminals. My nerves make my movement stronger. However I’m not so weak as I have wings alike winds. My routes are eternal. I wriggle like a snake when a wind blows & hundred mouths of mine erupt hundred tempests. And thanks to my famous conquests my glory is expanding from the North to the South”.
