François Couperin: Concert Royal N.9

Esteemed Readers, today I present you a Concert Royal N.9 by François Couperin. It is light & positive alike water with a certain accord of a harpsichord. Enjoy it!

Vive le Roy! 🙂

  1. Thank you, Maria. I have no power right now, so I will have to listen later. My hotspot signal is too weak.

    Delizioso. Bellissimo il quadro.

    Dear Maria,
what a romantic phantasy with all the elements such a picture of a locus amoenus needs.
Thanks for sharing. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
    All the best

My dear Klaus, I’m glad to know that you enjoyed it. François Couperin’s works are rather sophisticated. Greetings to Dina. Same to you. I hope the extreme frost has passed you by. It is about -20 in Moscow & it will last for some time. The true Russian winter has finally arrived.

      Stay warm! ☕💐
      Maria

        Dearest Maria,
what a pity after ten days winter has left and we have spring here now. It’s sunny and up to 16C. We are busy in our garden.
We wouldn’t have minded temperatures of minus 20C and under. When we lived in arctic Scandinavia and Northern Canada the temperatures were as low as minus 30 and sometimes for a day even colder. We liked it because of the optical illusions you get when it’s that cold.
        You stay warm and cosy.
        Love
