Technical progress doesn’t serve to people to facilitate their life anymore. Its goal has changed. It looks more aggressive now and little by little we’re becoming servants of it.
Modern gadgets deprive us of a possibility to use our brain properly. They “help” to unlearn counting and writing, steal both our time and health. We’re becoming more distant to nature, less we understand its essence and its laws. Our ancestors used to live in far severe conditions, while for us a simple black out or absence of central heating is the end of the world. In total, we are forgetting authentic things and replace them with an artificial reality. An illusion of a comfortable life makes us lazy and unpractical. More we develop it, more we are at bay.
Another paradox is: having technologies people don’t create any masterpieces in most kinds of arts, our clothes are lack of any proper decorations, our nutrition contain synthetic and poisonous substances. We rush after innovations in delirium, but more we create, less sense they have. It’s time to take a break and to ponder on what has already been made, to analyse both positive and negative sides of our modern civilization. Otherwise we will turn ourselves into sources of energy for hi-tech Hydra, which hunger is already becoming keener.

Very nice post Maria. You are right digital era is getting towards so called perfection. We start to depend more and more on editing and we forget to live our life. All the best to you.
Thank you, dear Adrian.
It. seems the more we progress, the more lost we found ourselves, doesn’t it? 🙂
Saint Truth, Mr. Brigido! In fact it looks like re-gress of ourselves. And what is Freedom established by the French Revolution? Slavery & decadence of Spirit.))) Thank you for your brilliant comment!
